We are proud to announce the overwhelming success of our&nbsp;transport operations at the 2025 Silverstone Grand Prix. Across a weekend of record-breaking attendance, changing weather, and logistical complexity, we delivered what we do best: getting people to the right place, at the right time, with a smile.

Over the three-day race weekend, FTS safely and efficiently transported more than&nbsp;83,000 attendees&nbsp;from Hinton Airfield, Turweston Airfield, Milton Keynes Station, Towcester, Bicester Heritage, Oxford Parkway and Buckingham&nbsp;to the iconic Silverstone circuit, navigating extreme heat, downpours, and last-minute changes with ease.

“This was one of the most demanding events we’ve ever managed – but also one of the most rewarding,” said Andy Scholey, Managing Director at First Travel Solutions. “Hearing directly from customers on the ground was incredibly gratifying. Many commented they had never seen the shuttles run so smoothly. One couple even told us that ‘the Milton Keynes shuttle service was the highlight of their day.’

The scale of the operation, combined with unpredictable weather and live operational challenges, demanded extraordinary teamwork and agility. I’m incredibly proud of how the entire team rose to the occasion and delivered such a seamless experience for passengers.”

FTS deployed a high-frequency shuttle service supported by a robust team of ground staff and real-time event control. We ensured smooth pick-ups, short wait times, and safe returns, even when the heavens opened or traffic bottlenecks appeared.

Nic’s cross-sector expertise, combined with her deep understanding of customer engagement, will be instrumental in driving new business, building strategic alliances, and supporting FTS’s mission to deliver safe, sustainable, and seamless journeys for over a million passengers annually.
