First Travel Solutions (FTS) is delighted to announce they will be supporting short haul coach shuttle operations at the 2017 Boardmasters Festival.

Boardmasters Festival is an annual event held in Cornwall. The event is a combination of live music and surfing/skateboarding competitions in and around the town of Newquay.

Richard Kirk, Commercial Director for FTS comments; “We’re really excited to be involved in this event that attracts thousands of visitors to Newquay and the surrounding area every year.&nbsp;

Our remit is to provide a coach shuttle service that will operate daily for the duration of the event running between Watergate Bay Festival site and Newquay town centre for Fistral Beach. Given the volume of festivalgoers and visitors involved, everyone is encouraged to leave the car at home and travel to the area via public transport where at all possible.

The shuttle bus service we’ll be operating will run from 0700 hours until 0430 hours the following morning, so there’s not a huge amount of downtime on this particular project which is a challenge we’re looking forward to managing. Single and return shuttle tickets are available for the journeys.

We’ll have crew on the ground for the duration and we’re really looking forward to our first taste of this surf and music event on the Cornish coast.”

There’s loads going on at this year’s Boardmasters Festival including music and performances by a multitude of different acts, professional surfing and amateur surfing, beach yoga and a wellbeing tent, skate and BMX events, shopping and lots, lots more.

This year’s event takes place from 9th to 13th August 2017.
