Global Passenger Network (GPN) is a group of international coach hire companies providing coach and minibus hire throughout the world. When we say throughout the world we really do mean the world. GPN has members in a whole host of countries including Austria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portual, the USA and of course the UK - to name but a handful.
First Travel Solutions is now the first transport management company to become an affiliate member of GPN.

Back in 2015 First Travel Solutions (FTS) received ISO certification from ISOQAR for a number of different quality management systems.
We're delighted to announce that FTS were recently re-certified by ISOQAR in the following:

FirstGroup Plc, our parent company, was recently successful in it's joint bid with MTR (Mass Transit Railway Corporation) for the South Western Railway franchise which will operate for the next 7 years.
First Travel Solutions (FTS) is delighted to announce that it will be providing rail replacement transport when the new franchise begins in August 2017. South Western Railway (SWR) operates across 180 stations stretching from Weymouth all the way to Exeter. FTS is now looking to expand our team of Co-ordinators (customer assistance on the ground). Working as part of a team you'll balance your passion for customer care with your ability to maintain the highest safety standards at all times.

Due to this contract win, FTS is now looking to expand our database of approved suppliers and is looking for safe, reliable, quality suppliers to work with us in delivering exceptional service for our clients and their passengers. In addition to rail replacement work there's a broad spectrum of work opportunities. For example, FTS provide ground transport for several aviation companies, for crew and passengers. We are managing the transport for the IAAF (World Athletics Championships) and World Para Athletics this summer along with the Boardmasters Festival in Newquay and the Leeds Music Festival for the second year running.
FTS is also moving approximately 50,000 young people during 2017 for the sixth year running for the government's Nation Citizenship Scheme.

First Travel Solutions (FTS) is delighted to announce that Richard Kirk has recently been appointed Commercial Director within their organisation.
Richard is a transport professional with over 20 years industry experience at both National Express companies and First. Whilst working for First, Richard has been Head of Subcontracted Services for London 2012 and Glasgow 2014 and was General Manager of First's Games Transport's team that delivered spectator, VIP and media bus and coach services for Rugby World Cup England 2015 across the country. More recently he's been involved in delivering transport for spectators attending the UEFA Champions League Final in Cardiff.
In addition to this he's undertaken rail replacement and aviation disruption services.
Richard adds; "The commercial development of FTS is a key focus for the management team and I will be looking to develop our commercial and sales strategy as well as leading our bidding for new contracts.
A key element of our development will be increasing the use of digital marketing through twitter, LinkedIn and the revamped FTS website www.firsttravelsolutions.com that was launched last year, to attract potential new customers.
I'm absolutely delighted to be appointed to the position of Commercial Director within the team at FTS and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with the team to develop the business."
