First Travel Solutions (FTS) is absolutely delighted to announce they will be supporting the Footbal Association of Wales with transport requirements for the forthcoming UEFA Champions League final.

The 2017 UEFA Champions League final takes place at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff on Saturday 3rd June with the kick off scheduled for 19.45.  Juventus face holders Real Madrid in what will be a much anticipated final.

FTS has been awarded the travel and transport contract and will be supporting the organisers with a wide and varied range of vehicle requirements.  Services that will be operating for the event include rail support services between Bristol and Cardiff, the safe transportation of Juventus fans to and from Cardiff Airport and transporting Real Madrid fans from Bristol and Birmingham Airports.

In addition to this FTS will be providing park and ride services for staff who are working at the UEFA Champions League final as well as VIP coaches and transport for the main sponsors, Heineken.

Richard Kirk, Commercial Director for FTS comments; “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with the organisers of the UEFA Champions League final to project plan and deliver the transportation needs and requirements for what some might argue is one of the biggest events in the world.

Our remit on this contract is wide and varied and our vast team have been working hard for several months now to make sure we are ready to deliver another high profile sporting event.

We’ll have crew on the ground for the duration of the event to help fans, staff and visitors safely reach the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and also to assist with their return journey.  We’re hoping we’ll get a sneaky peak at some of the world class football players that will be playing in the final on the 3rd of June!’

FTS wishes both Juventus and Real Madrid the very best of luck for the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday 3rd June.
